| Guna(s) | Attributes of Nature. Same as Gunas of Prakriti |
| Gunas of Prakriti | The attributes of Nature. There are three attributes of Nature, that is, Sattva, Rajas and Tamas,
or purity, passion and delusion

| Guru | Teacher or preceptor

| Gyan | Knowledge and Bhavas based on the Truth that all beings are God, not men/ women and all
actions are performed by Nature, as enumerated in Verses 13:8-12

| Gyanam | Same as Gyan
|
| Gyani | Follower of Sankhya or path of Gyan. The Gyani knows that all bodies are embodied by God and treats alike joy and sorrow, gain and loss, victory and defeat and endeavours to free himself from desire, hate and the pairs of opposites |
| Gyanvan | One who possesses Gyan, having realised that all is Vasudev or Supreme Reality and all beings are God |
| Gyan Yagya | Sacrifice of Gyan or true knowledge. It is performed by obtaining Gyan from a Gyani who has realised the truth and/or by accepting as true the words of God written in the Holy Scriptures. |
| Gyan Yog | Union with Brahm by Gyan. Gyan Yog is meant for the Sankhyas and consists of treating alike joy and sorrow, gain and loss, victory and defeat and relinquishing desire, hate and the pairs of opposites, believing that all bodies are embodied by God. It also consists of renouncing the fruits of actions to God |

Kamdhenu | Fulfiller of desires. Same as Kamdhuk |
| Kamdhuk | The divine cow that fulfills all desires. In the Gita, Kamdhuk refers to the Yagya or sacrifice born of action, also called Karma Yog, which is said to be the fulfiller of all desires (Verse 3:10) |
| Karma | Bhavas or thoughts of the being that cause his birth in a new body on discarding of the old one |
| Karma Yog | Union with Brahm by actions. It consists of mentally renouncing the actions to God while
performing actions

| Karma Yogi | A person who performs actions by mentally renouncing them to God |
| Kootasth | Unchangeable or non-perishable being. He is one who has steadied his intellect by Buddhi Yog and attained the state of Brahm, that is, who is without desire and who acts without yearning and without the sense of mine-ness and I-ness (ego) |
| Mahatma | Great soul or being |
| Maheshwar | Great God or the Supreme Being who dwells in the hearts of all beings |
| Mantra | Sacred word or hymn. A word or a group of words, pertaining to a deity, that is chanted to
obtain some benefit

| Maya | Delusion caused by the ego, attributes and/or the pairs of opposites. Maya is destroyed when
one is established in Sankhya or Yog and is freed from desire, the ego and the pairs of opposites and attains the attributless Bhava of Brahm that all beings are God
