Though we say that God is the almighty, all-pervading, creator, destroyer and sustainer, that He is omnipotent, omniscient and so on, we do not know, who is God? is the question which haunts us. The trail blazing book
You Are God – The Bhagavad Gita as never before by Shashi Verma reveals for the first time that God, who created the universe and who pervades the entire existence, is Gyan and Vigyan or knowledge and science or simply said, God is wisdom. God is the perception of sameness towards all, the awareness that all beings are God. God is wisdom of non-attachment to the actions with the awareness that the actions are performed by the nature. The all-pervading Supreme God is this knowledge and wisdom as revealed by Lord Krishna in the Gita:
That is light even of lights, said to be beyond darkness. Gyan, that which is to be known, the goal of Gyan, seated in the hearts of all. Chapter 13:18.
Know that action arises from Brahm [Gyan or Wisdom] and Brahm arises from the Imperishable. Therefore, the all-pervading Brahm is ever established in Yagya [sacrifice of non-attachment to actions]. Chapter 3:15
Supporting My own Nature, I [All-pervading Gyan or Wisdom] bring forth again and again this multitude of beings, helpless by the force of Nature. Chapter 9:8
Therefore, engage in work always without attachment; for by performing action without attachment, the being attains the Supreme [Gyan or Wisdom]. Chapter 3:19
At last after many births, one who has attained Gyan reaches Me, realizing that All is Vasudev [Supreme Reality]. Such a great soul is very difficult to find. Chapter 7:19
The same am I to all beings, there is none hateful or dear to Me; but those who worship Me with devotion, they are in Me and I am also in them. Chapter 9:29
Though all beings are fragments of the all-pervading wisdom or God, they do not have the self-knowledge that they are God or fragments of Wisdom. They do not know the science of Yog or the wisdom of remaining unattached to the actions while performing these actions. All beings are indestructible fragments of God or Wisdom; they are eternal living beings who keep taking constant births in different bodies due to their attachment with the attributes of nature who performs all actions.
The book elucidates the science of Karma Yog which is the highest wisdom and is itself God. Karma
Yog does not consists of performing any specified actions or abstaining from any actions or enjoyment of any objects. Karma Yog is the Wisdom of performing all actions will attain the self-knowledge that they are God, not I/men/women. They will become same to all the beings, realising that all are God. They will have attained the wisdom that is God. They will have found answer to the question: Who is God? They will have known, that God is Wisdom.
The book elucidates the science of Yog by devoting to which you will attain self knowledge that You are God. And once you realise that we are all the same, that we are all indeed God, you will become immortal.
