The wisdom of God that came through the prophets is intended to free man from death and give him everlasting life. A wise person is the one who possesses the wisdom that can free him from stress, diseases, ageing and death and give him peace, happiness and eternal life.
Man can free him from death and live forever in the same physical form provided he believes the words of God and keeps His sayings. Believing the words of God to be true and following them constitute wisdom.
Jesus Christ says, “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock." (Matthew 7:24) He further says, “And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be linkened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand." (Matthew 7:26)
We do not realize that wisdom is the supreme power, who we call God, who created the matter and universe and is sustaining all this for billions of years. Simply put, wisdom is God.
